Data Collection and Storage

Hortus Logbook does not collect or store any personal data on external servers. All information you enter in the application (plants, calendars, notes, etc.) is stored exclusively on your device.

Analysis and Improvement

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous information about app usage to improve the user experience and performance. This data includes:

Device information (model, Android version, etc.)
App interactions (features used, time spent)
Performance data (loading times, potential crashes)

This information is anonymous and cannot be used to personally identify you. It is processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

Advertising

Our application displays advertisements via third-party ad networks. These networks may collect certain limited non-personal information to display relevant ads:

Device's advertising identifier (which can be reset)
General device information
Approximate location based on IP address

You can modify your advertising preferences in your Android device settings.

App Permissions

Hortus Logbook may request the following permissions:

Storage: to save your gardening data

Your gardening data is stored locally on your device. Anonymous analytical data is transmitted to Firebase Analytics with a secure connection. We take measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. We recommend that you:

Use a screen lock
Regularly back up your data

Children

Our application is not specifically intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
